A complex yet graceful wine, this Riserva is aged for at least three years in oak and

The Contucci History
As one of the oldest and most famous families in the town of Montepulciano in the Siena province, the Contuccis have been cultivating grapes and world class wine since the Renaissance. The family is cited as one the “founding fathers” of Vino Nobile, one of the oldest Italian wines made primarily from Sangiovese (or Prugnolo gentile), and destined for the tables of “gentle folk.” Today the family carries on this legacy striving to produce the highest quality wine by combining centuries of tradition with new ideas.
