Las Mercedes Logo
Las Mercedes
Maule Valley, Chile

In 1892 Emile Bouchon moved from Saint Emilion, Bordeaux to Chile with the dream of producing excellent wines in the new world. This viticulture tradition was carried on by his son and grandchildren. Today, Julio Bouchon still owns the land and considers the Las Mercedes vineyards his personal favorite. The vineyards, located in the famous Maule Valley, stretch along the Maule River and benefit from cool Ocean breezes. Wild animals live amongst the mountains and creeks alongside the vineyards, and this unique combination of nature that incorporates the breathtaking landscape, native wildlife, and low-yield vineyards make Las Mercedes a very special place. Inspired by the land, the Bouchon family strives to represent this uniqueness and beauty in their delicious Las Mercedes wines.
